  • Aaron Clason

    Executive Producer

    Aaron Clason is a an award-nominated producer with a talent for audience-focused, high-impact work, Aaron’s credits include Sammy Blew Up a Toilet (Duns Play Fest / Edinburgh Fringe), 470 Miles: A Sketchy Soirée (Brighton Fringe), Plus or Minus Forty Winks (Festival Theatre Studio), and Nick it for Munich (Edinburgh Fringe), which received the 2025 Keep It Fringe Bursary. He also spearheaded The Crunch Collection, producing five new shows with five creative teams in five months.

    Aaron has worked with Seabright Live, on shows such as Potted Potter, Buffy Revamped, Black is the Color of My Voice, Firebird, Bonding, In Pour Taste, Yippee Ki Yay, and I Wish My Life Were Like a Musical across West end, Off West End and international tours. He also brings PR and marketing experience from Mobius Industries, supporting national campaigns across major UK venues.

    Currently completing an MA in Creative Producing at Royal Central, Aaron recently made his directing debut with Nick it for Munich, continuing to drive The Crunch Collective into bold new territory.

  • Aric Hanscomb-Ryrie

    Artistic Director

    Aric is an actor-playwright with bags of energy alongside a strong heart for the craft. In the past year, Aric has had three of his full length plays performed at major venues and festivals, driving the artistic vision of his theatre company ‘The Crunch Collective’. A young professional who has recently toured in his first pantomime across the Glasgow region of Scotland with Hopscotch Theatre. An artist driven by his bravery - never shying away from showing his face and prepared for all opportunities that he takes on.

  • Aydan Macdonald

    Artistic Director

    Aydan Macdonald is an actor-director driven by his inherently curious nature and love for all things performance.

    Always eager to try new things, he helps lead Crunch into new horizons; with his passion for collaboration being at the heart of The Crunch Collection. Aydan directed Crunch's debut play Sammy Blew Up a Toilet(Duns Play Fest/ Edinburgh Fringe) and Wally Bug Breath(The Crunch Collection)

    Having recently Graduated BA (Hons) Stage and Screen Acting at Edinburgh Napier Aydan's goal is to create compelling stories as both a director and actor. No matter what the future holds Aydan will meet it with an infectious enthusiasm.

  • Lauren Davina

    Head Of Marketing

    Lauren Davina is a freelance graphic designer and prop maker, currently serving as our Head of Marketing and Design.  Known for her love of bold colours and experimental ideas, Lauren brings a fearless creativity to everything she touches. Her imaginative approach and eye for detail play a vital role in shaping the visual identity and artistic direction of the Collective. Always open to new creative possibilities, Lauren thrives on pushing boundaries and exploring fresh concepts—ensuring that every project she undertakes is as striking as it is original.

  • Robert McLean

    Technical Director

    Robert Mclean is a Scottish production and stage manager based in Edinburgh, known for his precision, leadership and organisational skills. With a strong foundation in technical theatre, Robert has honed his skills in Production/Stage management, Lighting Design, and the seamless coordination of productions.

    Being a military veteran, Robert has seen all walks of life and developed invaluable skills that has shaped the very person he is today. His passion for theatre and strong leadership skills have lead him down the path of managing live events/productions.

    Often found camping, fishing or behind a PC monitor, He is currently pursuing a degree in stage management, Robert demonstrates a unique ability to manage complex projects independently while fostering collaboration across teams. His expertise extends to organising large-scale events, ensuring every detail aligns with the artistic vision.
